Handicap
All scores must be posted unless you play alone.  Post the day you play.  Ringers may be posted after playing 9 consecutive holes.
Equitable Stroke Control Stroke Controle

To be used when posting scores.  There is no limit to the number of holes on which you can adjust your score.
Starting in 2020 Equitable Stroke Control has a single limit for all players of
NET DOUBLE BOGEY
To calculate start with Double Bogey (Par + 2) on any hole.  Add the number of strokes you get on that hole. That is Net Double Bogey.
example: 8th hole 5 + 2 + number of strokes,
10th hole 3 + 2 + number of strokes.
Pace of Play
  • SRCC requires rounds to be played in 4 hours or less between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.  All other times of the day, we require rounds to be played in 4 hours and 15 minutes or less.  When we are restricted to "cart paths only", the expected pace is 4 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Should you fall out of position during your round, we ask you to either improve your position or skip a hole.  See how to "recognize that your group is out of position on a golf course" below.
  • If any group does not return to an appropriate position on the golf course within a reasonable amount of time, skip a portion of the golf course to create that condition.
How to recognize that your group is out of position
  • When you are on a par 3 tee, the group in front of you has cleared the next tee.
  • When you are on a par 4 tee, the group in front of you has cleared the green.
  • When you are on a par 5 tee, the group in front of you is on the green.
As soon as this is recognized by your group, please pick up the pace to get back into position.
